Vacancy: Head Coach Girls Flag Football
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Organize and supervise a total sports program, including staffing Varsity I and Varsity II
● Relating to and communicating positively with student-athletes, their parents, school administration
● Displays leadership qualities. Is a positive role model and enforces positive sportsmanlike behavior at all times
● Preventative procedures
● Finance, equipment accountability, care of facilities
● Public relations
● Adherence to DOE/OIA policies
Qualifications:
● College degree preferred
● Knowledge of the technical aspects of Flag Football rules and regulations
● Effective communication skills, basic knowledge of computer literacy (i.e., Google applications)
● Effective organization and time management skills
● Fundraising and budget experience
● NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification
● At least two years of coaching experience at the high school level or above, or club Flag Football coaching experience with high school-age athletes
● Valid driver’s license
