Basketball officials association seeks
new officials
The Hawaii State Basketball Officials
Association (HSBOA) invites all individuals who are interested in officiating
high school basketball to its first meeting on Tuesday, September 19 from 6 to
7:30 p.m. at Aloha Stadium hospitality room.
Individuals with no experience or those
who wish to officiate youth and intermediate leagues are also encouraged to
attend. Must be 18-years or older to officiate.
The association is a nonprofit
organization that officiates Oahu Interscholastic Association boys and girls
basketball games. All members will attend mandatory sessions in rules,
mechanics, and philosophy as well as on-court situations.
